The subject-matter of the following essay is to investigate the relationship between what is commonly called Deep Ecology or Biocentric Philosophy, as articulated by the co-founder of the Deep Ecology Movement, Arne Naess, and later proponents of the biocentric school of environmentalist thought. I contrast Naess? concept of Self-realization as founded in his Ecosophy T to the ideas of american conservationist and co-founder of the radical green movement Earth First! Dave Foreman, and to the controversial finnish environmentalist and ecofascist Pentti Linkola?s ideological agenda of population-reduction respectively.According to some critics of the movement, especially the social ecologist Murray Bookchin and French liberal philosopher Luc Ferry, the Deep Ecology ideology is essentially misanthropic and totalitarian in structure. A central idea among deep ecologists is that ecosystems and natural entities have intrinsic value in themselves, even outside a human social context. This idea is thought of among deep ecologists to create a philosophically sound basis for counteracting the environmental global crisis.

?En studie i dekadens? är en studie av ghostwritern Neil Strauss och syftar till att med utgångspunkt från de självbiografier han spökskrivit åt celebriteterna Marilyn Manson, Mötley Crüe, Jenna Jameson och Dave Navarro undersöka en ny typ av populärkulturellt och samtida författarskap. Studien belyser hur Strauss på ett framgångsrikt sätt förflyttat författarens position och tagit på sig ett ställföreträdarskap för dem han skildrar och den dekadenta värld de verkar inom..

The field of work and employment is constantly undergoing changes. In order to help organizations to adjust to new conditions, different models for organizing have been developed. Many of these models are spread worldwide, due to the need for organizations to meet demands of flexibility and efficiency. In this study, a small number of models, which contains solutions of how to organize work in Human Resources, have been selected. The author and scientist Dave Ulrich, who has had a large influence on the development of the work in Human Resources, originally founded these models.The aim of this study was to examine how these models were functioning, in reference to the different departments of Human Resources labor within the township of Uppsala.

Serier, film och adaption. Detta är tre ord som den senaste tiden har blivit allt mer förknippade med varandra. Med titlar som Spider-man (Sam Raimi, 2002), The Dark Knight (Christpher Nolan,2008) och The Avengers (Josh Whedon, 2012) har serier satt sitt avtryck i filmhistorien. Men hur ser dessa båda medium ut och vad är det som gör adaptioner av serier så attraktiva? Detta kommer undersökas närmare i denna uppsats.

I denna rapport undersöks vilka problem det finns i samarbetet mellan JM Entreprenad AB och dess underentreprenörer. Med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer med arbetsledare och platschefer, från både underentreprenörer och JM Entrepren ad AB, har vi fått synpunkter på vilka dessa problem är, vad konsekvenserna blir och eventuella lösningar på problemen.  Åtta stycken punkter som vi kallar ?teman? i rapporten, har framförts från intervjukandidaterna. Det är punkter som påverkar samarbetet mellan parterna ute i produktionen. De lyder som följer: -     Säkerhet (arbetsmiljösäkerhet-     Lagbas kontra arbetsledare  -     Arbetsberedningar  -     Samarbetet mellan olika underentreprenörer  -     Möten (byggmöte och basmöte)  -     Arbetslivserfarenhet  -     Ändrings- och tilläggsarbeten  -     Tidsplanering  Den insamlande informationen är analyserad och presenterad enligt ovanstående teman med en tematisk analys.

Partnering is a new and exciting way of cooperation in the Swedish construction industry. In countries like Denmark and the United Kingdom the concept has been developed during a number of years while the Swedish construction industry has been more reluctant.Partnering is seen by many as the solution to the problems that often occur in design and build contracts. Many others believe that it is a way for the big entrepreneurs to gain unfair advantage. Never the less the concept is fast getting more and more appreciation, especially in the region of Karlstad where many new buildings are built that way.We have focused on the new development of Carlstad Conference Center (CCC) which is currently built with a partnering concept. The main method that have been used in this thesis are interviews with personnel on different positions in the project.

There are mainly two ways to transform the design of an existing park. You could either make a replanning of the park, an act that changes the design and the plant material in one swoop. Or you could use the management to change the expression of the park. To be able to develop the parks with the help of management, some form of goal is needed, that can make the management of the park strive towards an expression for the whole park as well as its individual parts. Among the documented goals, for individual parks and park management, which exist in the municipalities today, there seems to be a weak link between the all-embracing goals and the management that is carried out in the parks.

På grund av otryggheten i ett anarkistiskt naturtillstånd, kommer människor att sluta sig samman i stater, där de går med på att inskränka en del av sin frihet och överlåta makt till staten, på villkor att staten garanterar sina medborgare skydd för de naturliga rättigheterna. Så länge staten klarar av dessa uppgifter förbinder sig medborgarna att lyda staten, vars grund således, enligt denna teori, vilar på ett fiktivt samhällskontrakt. Inom ramen för detta samhällskontrakt har medborgare rätt att protestera för att nå förändring, så länge protesterna inte hotar samhällets fortsatta existens. Exempel på sådana legitima former av protester är (lagliga) demonstrationer, namninsamlingar samt olika former av civil olydnad som har gemensamt att aktörerna som deltar vill påverka inom ramen för samhällssystemet och därför står för sina handlingar samt är beredda att, om så är nödvändigt, låta rättssystemet ha sin gång.

De har också vågat ta risker samtidigt som de varit lyhörda gentemot marknaden.

The idea with constructions made out of prefabricated elements is that it should be quick and easy to build as the demands for lower production costs, increased profitability and shorter production times are constantly increasing. High accuracy in measurements and well-balanced tolerances is required to achieve this. The fact that the concrete-elements doesn?t fit and that damage occurs during assembly is a highly topical issue even though we now have methods and systems that make this high-intensity construction possible. Through this report we want to highlight the problems that cause the dimensional and tolerance problems and give suggestions on how to come to terms with these.
